Title: Little House
Year: 2025
Dimensions: 8.5 (H) × 8.75 (W) × 3 (D) inches
Media: Pen on cardboard and treated wood
Description: This was my first three-dimensional piece. I wanted to create something bold—structured but still unconventional. The idea of designing a residential form with a path, an entry, and space for a yard, while keeping it abstract, shaped my approach. I experimented with several versions as I explored different ways to cut and assemble the cardboard.

Title: Homes
Year: 2025
Dimensions: 3 × 3 inches, 8.5 x 11inches
Media: Pen on paper
Description: I wanted to see how a drawing could be simple yet still hold detail, so I focused on a few of my former New York City homes and my current Vermont one. Some of these buildings date back to the early 1900s, and I tried to give each one its own character while working within the same size and medium.
Title: ONE
Year: 2025
Dimensions: 14.5 (H) × 5 (W) × 17 (D) inches
Media: Mixed media (wood, lighting, handmade elements)
Description: One World Trade Center was a constant presence in my childhood—it was being built as I was growing up, and it became a landmark woven into my early memories. I wanted to recreate it in a way that felt both monumental and personal. I used wood and mixed materials to construct the tower and plaza, keeping the building to scale but enlarging the base to include the 9/11 Memorial. Each tree was handmade, and I added lighting so the tower would glow the way I remember it.

Title: Shoe Studies
Year: 2025
Dimensions: Various
Media: Pencil on paper, paint, and mixed media
Description: I wanted to explore how texture can be shown through sketching, painting, and collage. I studied an old broken barrel and a pair of worn prop shoes, experimenting with color, layering, and materials to discover how surface and depth can create visual interest.
Title: Shoe
Year: 2025
Dimensions: 7 x 13 inches
Media: Acrylic on board
Description:
Inspired by Jim Dine’s simple yet expressive subjects, I chose one of the shoes as my focus to explore texture and color through painting. I aimed to balance simplicity and depth, and on reflection, I would have liked to build more three-dimensional form to bring the work to fuller completion.
Title: Paintbrush
Year: 2025
Dimensions: 9.5(H) × 6(W) × 0.50(D) inches
Media: Clay
Description: Continuing to study the works of Jim Dine, I wanted to explore a new medium of clay. Using earth tones, I experimented with how metal could burn off in the kiln to create a sense of light and texture, almost like the bristles of a brush. The process helped me understand how material and heat can shape the final surface and feel of a piece, although I had hoped for more from the result.
Title: Foundations of Photography
Year: 2023
Media: Nikon D3500 and iPhone
Description: These photos were taken early in my photography class, when I was learning how to use contrast to shape an image. The beach photo stood out to me during a family walk. I was drawn to the different surfaces and tones—the shifting sky, the movement of the water, the smooth sand, and the worn wood. Each element offered a different texture to explore through light and contrast.
